UAE’s 52nd National Day

Al Maryah Island will celebrate UAE National Day on 2 and 3 December with various cultural Emirati activities at the South Plaza, ADGM Square. The highly-anticipated opening of The Ripe Market with family-friendly activities is awaiting you. Timings are 3pm – 10pm on both days. More details can be found here.

Guests can watch the fireworks from the waterfront promenade or the South Plaza on ADGM Square.

The North and South food court terraces in The Luxury Collection will only be available for those dining. There are also very limited spaces here.

We strongly recommend booking a reservation at one of our waterfront dining restaurants to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Yes, there will be temporary road closures just before and after the fireworks show to ensure guest safety.

The bridges leading into Al Maryah Island, Zayed the First Street (on the Rosewood hotel end), and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street (on the Four Seasons end) will be restricted to pedestrians and cars from approximately 8:45pm - 9:45pm on 2 and 3 December.

We strongly recommend you arrive early to avoid any disappointment.

Guests can access the waterfront promenade via The Galleria Luxury Collection through the doors near L’ETO and beside Van Cleef and Arpels. Security can guide guests through the appropriate entry and exit points.

To access ADGM Square, guests can exit The Galleria via the main entrances off Hamouda Bin Ali Al Dhaheri Street. The South and North Plazas will be marked.

There is ample parking at The Galleria Al Maryah Island for all guests, both in The Luxury Collection (North and South parking) and on the expansion side of the mall.

The Galleria will celebrate the occasion with themed, Instagrammable décor, celebrating the colors of the national flag and we will have two activities for UAE National Day as per below:

• Abu Dhabi Police Marching Band on 2nd December from 4 pm to 5 pm
• UAE National Archives from 1st to 7th December
